IPC is very much a part of the NHS family, with NHS values at our heart. As the NHS enters an increasingly competitive world, the market is open for private providers from all parts of the world to bid for and win contracts to provide general practice, diagnostics, out patients and even in-patient care. IPC exists to ensure that the NHS locally is not taken over by companies based, for instance, in the USA. It is simply the vehicle for local NHS staff to compete against these outside providers. In addition we have a strong education and training arm, providing and sign-posting education and training opportunities for our West Sussex practices.
