What is a Federation?
A GP federation is an organisation that enables GP practices to work together more closely. A federation can either be a separate company or an informal arrangement such as an alliance or an association. IPC is a not-for-profit limited company who directly provide some NHS services and also support GP practices as they provide their NHS services.
In our case what this looks like is a team of many different healthcare professionals, administrators and managers who have a central office base (in Arundel) but often work at many different healthcare sites across Coastal West Sussex.
